Description

Grab your reading glasses, this description is gonna be a lloooong :P

Trixie is a clown doll, more on that in her back ground story :) She's an amazing performer, dancer and acrobat and is naieve and optimistic. However, despite her backstory, she has a hard time understanding those who are not as enthusiastic or appreciative of bright colours or her carnival spirit, she's also not used to school life. Her name translates to 'entertainer of the circus'

Name: Trixie De Cirque

Age:

Parent: There's lots of confusion over that one

Killer Style: Even when I'm not performing I dress for the big top stage!!

Freaky Flaw: I love to dance and perform, however doing this during class sometimes causes a stir across the other pupils and it gets me into trouble. Because of this I am accused as being the ringleader of events I never knew a thing about!!

Favourite Activity: Anything to do with the buzz of the funfair!! Dancing, acrobatics, dressing up for example :D

Biggest Pet Peeve: I just can't see why some monsters don't love the idea of making Monster High one big carnival. What could be better than filling the school with music and colours and dancing??

Favourite School Subject: Dance

Least Favourite School Subject: I really struggle with Maths and English

Favourite Colour: Anything bold and fun!!

Favourite Food: Candyfloss and toffee apples

Back Story(here we go xD)
A travelling circus prided itself on one of its acrobats, a fearless and attractive man in his early thirties, always dazzling the audience with his acts getting more and more dangerous and adventurous each year. But behind the scenes, he was a practiser of black magic. When this was discovered by the other members of the circus he was ruthlessly thrown out on suspicion of falsely gaining his talents. Furiously, he swore to them he would create his own travelling circus to rival them. He used his magic to make himself ageless, and set out recruiting performers for his own circus, giving himself the position of ringleader. He wore masks to hide his face from the audiences, so that if his circus were to continue to prosper for centuries it would add mystery to the acts, as the audience would never really know it was the same ringleader all that time. Buisness was slow for the first few decades, and the ringleader was becoming frantic. He started to strive more for perfection, auditioning more performers and firing any current ones who weren't up to his higher standards. The circus became more and more popular, but it wasn't yet enough. Upon spending nights brooding, an obvious answer came to him. He could create arcade attractions, such as fortune teller puppets. But this just wasn't enough, every circus had those. He needed to take this idea one step further.

Waking up one night after a tour, a huge idea struck him. Something no other circus would have. He began crafting a doll, slightly smaller than the height of the average teenage girl, making her as life-like as possible. Using black magic he gave her sight, smell, taste, touch, hearing, movement, speech, thoughts and personality. He enclosed her in a glass box mounted on a wooden one surrounded in golden decoration and painted the words 'See The Amazing Trixie De Cirque' in extravagant lettering. He attached strings to her limbs and the top of the box, and a slot in the wooden part for coins. As soon as she was finished she was taken to the circus, and displayed by the big top. Those who came to enjoy the circus put money in the slot, and Trixie would dance and sing, unknown to them that the strings served no purpose at all. When the finale in the big top was performed on the last night of each town, the box would be carried onto the stage and opened. The crowds would gasp as the doll would dance out the box and interact and perform with the other dancers and acrobats. Every now and then one of her limbs or her head would fall off. This was all intentional to prove she was a real doll and not an actress.

The act was extremely popular, and Trixie and the rest of the company thrived in the spotlights. For the next few decades, the circus brought in huge amounts of money and was loved across the country. But it wouldn't last forever. Due to modern technology, old fashioned festivities such as circuses started to become neglected. Rides were brought in, which the public loved. They loved the rides, but the actors struggled with getting a large crowd to watch the main performances in the big top. The number of people who attended went down, and down and down, and less people were paying to watch Trixie dance in her box. Trixie and the other performers all felt disheartened and abandoned, some even seeming to be depressed. Trixie hated seeing her friends this way, she also hated the lack of appreciation she and her friends were getting, and the less people came to see them, the more she would feel tormented and furious. So much so that one night she snuck out of her box in secret and damaged all the rides as much as she possibly could. This brought more people to the performances, but not enough to cover the raised costs of the rent or supplies, and the cost to build up the rides, which had been their current main source of income, was far higher than they were now earning.

There was nothing they could do to save themselves, the circus members had to disband and go their seperate ways. The ringleader was distraught, the precious thing he had taken care of for over a century had come to an end. He took Trixie with him, as he created her there was a special father-daughter type bond between them. He found a job in a theatre, as a master of main roles, suspence, mystery and dances in gothic plays and rented out an apartment. They were well off, but Trixie knew he didn't enjoy his new job as much as he enjoyed being leading the performances. The months passed and the more he worked at the theatre the more Trixie knew it wasn't the same and the more she knew the guiltier she felt about ruining the circus. She was so close with him she was sure he would understand if she told her secret, but she didn't want to take risks. Hiding it, however, got too much for her and she blurted it out anyway, convinced he would appreciate her reasonings. He did the exact opposite. He flew into a rage, and started being abusive to her. He too felt guilt after his rage had calmed down. He no longer wanted anything to do with Trixie, but he felt too connected to her to destroy her. Instead he strapped her by her limbs inside the glass box and locked it. He took it to an antique shop outside of the town. The owner of the shop felt something was wrong about the 'antique' and hid it in a corner behind other large antiques.

Trixie's usual optimism seemed to have dissappeared. For months she was in a box, unable to move, with no company and could only peep through a small gap between a bunch of old furniture to see anything at all. She was beginning to give up hope anything would happen to her, when a woman from a nearby village visited the shop. The woman too was familiar with and practiced witchcraft and black magic, and has sensed the enchantment that had been put on Trixie. She searched the shop, trying to follow the sense and was about to search the last corner of the shop, having to get the shopkeeper to assist her with moving wardrobes and tables, leading her to the poor doll. Seeing someone had finally noticed her, that she may finally have a chance of getting out her prison, Trixie's eyes lit up and met those of the witch's. The woman paid for her and took the box home as quick as she could, and opened it up almost the second she got in. The witch lived alone in a small bungalow, filled with all sorts of talismans. She was in her late twenties and had longed for a lasting relationship and children, but nothing seemed to have gone her way. She freed Trixie, who fell to the floor thanking her over. The witch, by name Primrose, was overjoyed. She fell in love with Trixie at once, and treated her like her own daughter. Trixie loved her just as much in return. Primrose changed a guest bedroom into a room for Trixie, and helped her decorate it and buy new clothes. As she had other jobs, Primrose taught Trixie how to cook and tidy for when she couldn't be at home to do so for her.

After a couple of months, Primrose noticed something that she just couldn't ignore. Trixie didn't know how to do any maths, had limited reading ability and had hardly ever written anything in her life. The doll needed proper education. Primrose looked at all the nearby schools, but she had no idea what sort of school would take on an enchanted doll and teach it such basic things. She was starting to get herself stressed about it, until one meeting at her coven. The other members, some of her closest friends, could tell there was something bothering her. Only one or two of them knew about Trixie at this stage. They were all intrigued by her story, but understood her trouble. Fortunately for her, one of the other members had a solution. They had been in contact with a demon, who, in demon years, was a teenager, attending a school named Monster High. Primrose and Trixie researched into the school, and it looked perfect. Upon going there themselves, they accepted all sorts of non-humans at all sorts of ability. Trixie couldn't wait to start, she got a new bag and loads of supplies in all different colours that she was dying to use.

Her first day was really exciting for her, meeting so many different monsters with all kinds of skin, eyes, features and abilities fascinated her. It was somewhere she could feel at home, but not as at home as she did back in the circus. When she closed her eyes, she could imagine fanfare music filling the halls, helter skelters alongside the stairs, the creepateria serving up popcorn and candyfloss. As much as she loved living with Primrose, she longed to see the ringleader again, and to be surrounded by colour and music and dance. Sure, she had her room, but a whole school?? There and then she made a vow to herself, that she would try her hardest to get the monsters to use their talents to turn Monster High into one big colourful carnival, every day of the year.
